Applebees

We are fast approaching our Applebee's Fundraiser deadline.  Please take a moment and send me your ticket sales count.  Make sure your name is on the email so I can keep track on my spreadsheet.  Once we reach a certain amount of ticket sales, I will have to make arrangements with Applebee's  for them bring in additional cooking staff to help with the breakfast.

SELL, SELL, SELL - Again, this is a great opportunity for the players to earn their fundraising fees.

Checks are to be made payable to NOAH.  This is not an all you can eat buffet, but manager said customers will leave full and satisfied.

You can sell tickets even during the breafast event.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Applebees Fundraiser: More clarification

More questions/answers to the Applebee's Fundraiser:

What does each person get for their $7 ticket?

Each ticket price consists of 3 pancakes, syrup, butter, 2 sausage links, refills on tea, coffee, juice and sodas and use of the plates, silverware, cups and napkins.

If a guest requests a second portion, our staff will be happy to accommodate very limited requests however, Flapjack Fundraiser events are not advertised as "All-you-can-eat".

Clarification on the Applebees fundraiser

Several people have asked if this is an 'all you can eat' event.  It IS NOT 'all you can eat,' but the manager said they would leave full.

Please let us now how you're doing on the ticket sales.

Tackle Football Fundraiser

Attention Parents:

It is time for our first fundraiser.

 Applebees’ Flapjack breakfast.
Saturday, July 16
7am-10am
9409 E 71st

Tickets sell for $7, but NOAH earns $5 per ticket.  Each player should sell a minimum of 20 tickets.  Sell them to your neighbors, parents’ co-workers, church friends, even strangers.  This is a great opportunity for NOAH players to earn their fundraising fees.  Additional tickets are available upon request.  The more they sell, the more money they make towards their fundraising fees.

We will be handing out tickets and event flyer information Wednesday at the end of TU Camp.  Please remind your player to give you this information.  If your son is not attending TU Camp you may email below and we will make arrangements to distribute the tickets to you.

Volunteers are needed for the following:
·      Greeter: Greet Guests as they arrive
·      Seater: Seat Guests
·      Beverage Server: Serve beverages (coffee, soda, milk, juice, tea)
·      Pancake Server: Serve pancakes from kitchen
·      Busser: Clear dishes and clean tables

This will initially be a volunteer request, but if no one comes forward, then names will be drawn.

Please be watching for additional information to come down the blog  as we get closer to our breakfast date.  This has the potential to be a great fundraiser for our group, and possibly one we could continue on a yearly basis.

If you have any questions, please let us know.

TU Camp Guidelines

Parents,  Please make sure your sons have read the two post pertaining to TU Camp

Each athlete will have hs own room key and will be responsible for keeping up with his key. If the key is lost the entire dorm must be rekeyed, so it is important that they are careful with them.
If your son loses his room key he will be responsible to pay the $90 fee that TU will require to replace the lock/key on his room. One of our coaches will supervise and help the guys keep up with their keys when the players are one the field and can't wear their key/lanyard. We haven't lost one yet. Last year we had a few pranks with keys being hidden. If you feel the need to disrespect you teammates property then you should not attend camp and will be sent home.

Here are some tips for first timers:
They are fed very well at meal times. They can have as much as they want while they are in the cafeteria. They are not allowed to take any food out of the cafeteria. So around nine in the evening most are ready for pizza. A pizza can be ordered for $10 which can be shared between roommates if they don't want the entire pizza. So if you want pizza bring cash. They will also have gatorade for sale in the dorms

Cleats can't be worn in any of the buildings. This is strictly enforced. It would be wise to bring a pair of sandals/sliders and a string backpack or bag that they can carry their cleats or sliders in to and from sessions.

Do not bring clothing or items that display other team names or logos. You may wear NOAH logos and colors or TU logos and colors. They could use several changes of clothing everyday if they shower between sessions (which I am sure their roommates will greatly appreciate). They will need every t-shirt they bring and it would be unfortunate if the only clean shirt they have left is an Arkansas, OU, OSU, t-shirt that they won't be able to wear while at camp.

I will send out a message on the blog that will give the approximate time and location to pick up your son at the end of camp on Wednesday.

Team Camp Schedule
Check In
Day 1 – Check In, Lunch and Practice (two-a-day)
