The time slots available for now are 1:00-3:00, 3:00-5:00, 5:00-7:00, 7:00-9:00 and I need at least 4 players per time slot. Please contact me by phone 918-645-2053, or email sheilarossi62@yahoo.com to let me know what 2 hours you can work. . We still need lots more volunteer's to make this work. Come on Jag's, we can do this, we are a team. Lets all work together whether it be on the field, or working together to raise funds for our team.

Message from Coach Joe for the high school team

All VARSITY AND JV PLAYERS ARE TO BE AT SPRINGS OF GRACE BY 3:00 PM on Monday. We will watch film of our game versus Desoto and also our next opponent Heritage Hall. We will give a scouting report and then the JV players will leave around 5:15 to head over for Metro JV Game which starts @ 6:30. All Varsity players will finish conditioning and then should go (unless you get permission not to) and help the JV Players. We will wear white Game jerseys for JV.
I know it is an early start and there may be some who cannot make it because of school or other commitments. Let me know if you are going to be late - otherwise you will run for missing.
Players that get this message should pass it on to all of their teammates via text to make sure everyone is there and ready to go.

I know all of you, like me, are disappointed with Friday night. Desoto is a very good football team and we needed to play a near perfect game to defeat them. My disappointment is that we didn't play even an average game for us against them. We had way too many mistakes in all phases of the game. That's my fault as your coach and I intend to help us get it corrected. I love you guys and am excited to be your coach.
See you Monday.
Thanks,
Coach Joe

Junior High and High School Teams

NOAH basketball players and parents and football players and parents.

There is an opportunity on September 17th to work off some of your fees.

Adventures in Catering has asked for 35 workers to help with the Whirlpool
picnic on September 17th from 10:30 to 3:30. Age 13 and up are welcome.
You will receive $7.00 an hour. So each young person helping would receive $35 toward their fees. If 3 family members helped you would have a $105 covered. The company will write a check to NOAH and it will be credited to your fees. Any family members or friends can work and you just let me know what athlete to credit.

This is not exhausting work and they usually give you a t- shirt to wear.
Our family has always enjoyed helping this Christian business. And you get
lunch! It is always fun!!

Please contact Rosa Blankenship@
rosablankenship@gmail.com if you
can work. Or at 9182315106. Text
Or call. I need to know as soon as possible.
Whirlpool is located at hwy 75 and 76st north.

High School Team

Stilwell travel plans:

Coach wants all of the players at the practice field at 3:00 to leave for Stilwell.

Players should wear their travel shorts and Black T-shirts.  If you want to wear something over them that is fine but it needs to be black, royal blue, grey or white.
We are wearing our white game jerseys Friday night.

DeSoto travel plans:

We will leave from the practice field around 10:00 am on Friday the 23rd.  We are chartering a bus and will return after the game.  More details will follow.

IMPORTANT!
If you are planning to travel to the DeSoto game please let me know as soon as you can.  DeSoto is allowing us to pre-purchase tickets at a discounted price.

If you pre-purchase tickets you will pay $6.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.
If you purchase tickets at the gate on the night of the game the tickets are $7.00 for all.

These are pre-purchase and not pre-order so I will have to collect the money by Friday morning when the bus leaves for DeSoto.

If you have any questions please let me know.

Wear your black shirt that coach gave you last week.

A Message from Coach Joe About Friday's Game

NOAH Jaguars and fans,

Friday night our players will compete in a football game against the #3 ranked Metro Christian Academy team. It should be a good game. More importantly to me it is a game that has been dedicated to raising awareness about a major crisis in our city, state and world. I have witnessed firsthand the destructive nature of the sexual slavery and violence. I have talked with prostitutes and former prostitutes and counseled with young girls who have been victims of abuse (both "date rape", forced and coerced sexual behavior, and physical abuse). It is tremendously harmful and destroys lives. It is estimated that around 300,000 teenage girls each year in the United States become victims of human trafficking into the sex trade. The average age that a girl enters prostitution is 13! As a coach and a dad, I have spent this week speaking to our young men about the "demand" side of this crime. Girls are trafficked into slavery because there is a demand for purchased sexual activity with young girls. That it is an awful perversion of God's plan of exclusive love in the commitment of marriage and it happens because men are looking for a substitute pleasure for what they are missing in Jesus Christ.

Below you will find a couple of videos and a link to a website with information about this subject. Please join us in this effort.

Also - Metro Christian Academy has been collecting loose change all week to donate to this cause and we are asking all of our NOAH fans to bring their loose change Friday night in hopes that we can contribute more in a night than they do all week! Pray about busting your piggy banks! Hope918 is a ministry committed to not only raising awareness but is seeking to rescue and help those rescued to recover back into a productive spiritual life.

The Tulsa World ran a brief article about this event in Thursday's sports section and it is very important to me as a coach that we model a commitment to be about bigger issues than just football.

Your help is appreciated. Come cheer us on and help this important cause.

Results Of Our Football Game Program!

Please read the message below from Wayne and Tammy Dudley.  Wayne and Tammy along with Liz Garrison have gone above and beyond what we ever expected for the football game program.  They have all put forth an outstanding effort and devoted endless hours to make our football program an huge success.
Please join the NOAH football leadership in thanking Wayne, Tammy and Liz for their devotion to this project.
NOAH Football

Hello NOAH families,

We just wanted to give you a final update on the NOAH Football Program Book fundraiser. You all did a fantastic job selling ads! Our book had to be expanded to 52 pages (plus cover) in order to hold all the ads that were sold. Our ad sales totaled approximately $9,000! THANK YOU for all your effort and time! One of our football moms, Liz Garrison, spent 88 hours just in one week, finalizing the layout & design of the book (this doesn't include the many hours during the previous month she was working on the project). When you see Liz, she deserves a huge thank you!

In order to show appreciation to all of our advertisers, we are giving each one a complementary Program Book. If you would like to personally deliver these programs to the advertisers you sold ads to, please contact us at noahprogram@gmail.com & let us know. There are  80 advertisers in the book & we don't want any of them to be missed. Plus, it is important that we pass these programs out in a timely manner so that our supporters get them early on in the season. We plan to be at the practice field on Thursday, September 8th from 5:30-7:00 pm for you to sign for the books that you are delivering.  You might also include a personal thank you note to each advertiser for buying the ad. Our hope is that these businesses will buy ads in our program book again next year...which leads me to my final point.

Let me remind you to reward our advertisers by paging through the book & familiarizing yourself with the businesses which are represented there. See who you might be able to take your business to...and make sure that when you do, you mention that you saw their ad in the NOAH football program book. These folks have invested in NOAH Football...now let's show our appreciation to them by sending business their way.

Thankful for what the Lord has done!
