Watonga game will be held on Thursday, Oct. 18th, 7:30 pm at Broken Arrow South Intermediate

 instead of Friday, Oct. 19th.

Varsity Game Friday Night

Itinerary for Friday’s game against Verdigris

5:00pm          ​Arrive at Verdigris by this time!!!

Directions: From Tulsa, East on Hwy 412 to the Hwy 66 Catoosa/Claremore turn off (Left just east of casino)

Stay on Hwy 66 North until you come to Franklin Road (first traffic light past the bridge)

Turn right on Franklin road.

Turn left on Silverado. You’re there

7:00pm          ​Game Time

Players make sure you do the following:

Check your gear Friday after practice
        Helmet screws, shoulder pad straps, ect.

Make sure you bring your white jersey, blue pants

All players are to wear their travel gear, (shirt/shorts).

EAT  BEFORE YOU COME TO THE GAME

ALL PLAYERS & PARENTS AND STAFF &FAMILIES, are invited to Coach G’s for a hot dog roast immediately following the game.  All you need to bring is chips and pop/drink.

Directions:

Leaving the game – turn right on Hwy 66 (North) towards Claremore.

You’ll come to a light at King Rd. turn left.

At the next stop turn right heading North onSouthHaven.

The next light is Hwy 20. Continue across the Hwy heading North.

The road is now called Club House Dr.

Continue approx. 2 ½ miles you will come to East Clover Creek Dr., turn left.

Follow the road until you come to a split. Stay to the left across a small creek.

The road makes a sharp turn to the right,  follow the road.

We are the next house on the left

Hoodies Anyone?

I have had several inquiries about ordering hoodies.  I would like to make sure that we have enough interest before we take orders.  I have found a supplier that would have the hoodies completed by our first home game if we will order this week.

The hoodie and pant is a Gildan, 12oz weight hoodie which is nice and thick.

 The hoodie (with logo) would sell for $25 and the pants $20.

Game Program Ad Assistance!

We received an ad submission from First Security Home Mortgage & worked with them to design a full-page color ad which would be a great support to our football program.  But we don’t know WHICH FOOTBALL PLAYER contacted First Security Home Mortgage (at 71^st & Yale) to sell this ad.  We need to get a final commitment from this company & it would be very helpful if the family that sold the ad originally could contact First Security again to close this ad sale.

JV game in Verdigris

High School Team:

JV game Monday night at Verdigris at 6:45 following the Jr. High game. All will 

practice from 4pm - 5:50pm. We will leave by 6 for the game. ALL players who 

played in the last JV game need to bring their away uniforms, (blue pants, white 

jersey). 

ALL PLAYERS, are expected to attend the game. 

There will not be a bus. We will car pool to Verdigris from the varsity practice field. 

Driving help is appreciated.

Trip itinerary for Friday’s game against Oklahoma Christian School:

3:00pm           Meet at our practice field; East Tulsa Bible Chapel 135^th E Ave.

3:30pm           Bus leaves.

5:00pm          Arrive at Oklahoma Christian School Stadium

7:30pm          Game Time

Arrive back at practice field between midnight and 01:00.

Hennessey Lions Club

Supper in Hennessey:

For those traveling to the Hennessey game this Friday night they are offering a pork burger supper.

Pork burger, cole slaw, baked beans, drinks and dessert for $5.00.   Will be served in the cafeteria.

Varsity Game Thursday Night

High School players need to be at Memorial High School (stadium on the east side of Lafortune Park) by 5:00pm. 

Eat before you come to the game, (preferably a low-fat meal), drink plenty of water throughout the day.

We are wearing our white jerseys and blue pants

Make sure you check your equipment.

Kick-Off is at 7:30pm

NOAH Varsity Coaches (Jr. High and Elem. are welcome), Staff and High School Players are the only ones allowed in the locker room and on the sideline for the game.

UPDATES!

High school team will have a pre-game meal before the jv game tonight.

 The game is at O'Brien field which is North of Tulsa on Hwy 75.  The best way to travel is to exit at 66 St North off of Hwy 75.  Travel West (Left) on 66 St. North less than a mile you will find O'Brien Park on the left.  Take the first entrance and the football field in on the left.

We will not have a bus for JV games so the players will need make arrangements for travel to the game.

There is a possibility that we will watch filmSaturday morning at 08:30am.  I’ll confirm that after the game.

HELP NEEDED

Danae, would you send this to the blog -- & hope & pray we get some help?

The Game Day Program is one of NOAH’s most effective (& fun) fundraisers each year.  Our 2012 program is in the works and we could use a few assistants to help complete the project and learn how it’s done.  Program Coordinators Wayne & Tammy Dudley will be retiring next year when their player graduates so it would be very helpful to have volunteers that will consider taking on program jobs for next year.

We need people who have interest, skills or enthusiasm in these areas:

Photography (& sorting through the pictures)

Sales

Graphic Design

Advertising & Layout

Printing

Copywriting (especially need great caption writers)

Proofreading

We’re looking for visionaries as well as detail people.

We started from nothing & clueless – so don’t be afraid to jump in!  Willingness is what we need.  Most of the work is already in progress but a few people able to follow up on small issues, come alongside us with new ideas, pick out fun pictures and encouraging verses…all with a view toward taking a bigger role next year, would be a great help to us and to the NOAH organization.

Each year we strive to put together a professional-quality magazine that our team can be proud of – it helps support the NOAH football fundraising needs & serves as a great memory for the players. 

Primarily we want to show you how it’s done so that there’s a team ready to jump in & start working on the 2013 program next spring.

IMPORTANT CHANGE FOR SATURDAY'S GAME

The game venue has been changed for Saturday's game due to wet 

field conditions in Ash Grove.

The game has been changed to Missouri Southern University in Joplin.

Game times are the same:  

2pm for junior high and 5pm for high school.

Here are the directions:

I-44 East to Joplin,  exit on Range Line Rd (exit 8B);  North on 

Range Line Road to Neuman Rd.;  East on Neuman Rd.  

approximately 1.5 miles to MSSU Campus.  

Take a right on Duquesne  and the football stadium is on the left.

TEAM TRAVEL:

High school team will should arrive at the practice field at 12:30 pm.

Junior high team should arrive at the game field no later than 1:00pm.

NOTE:  High school practice time has changed for today.  Practice today will start at 4:00pm.

Saturday's Game in Ash Grove Mo.

This Saturday the Jaguars are headed to Ash Grove High School in Ash Grove Mo.  Ash 

Grove is west of Springfield.

Ash Grove High School is the venue for the competition between the Chargers and the 

Jaguars.

The junior high teams will kick off at 2 pm.  

Th varsity teams will kick off at 5 pm.
